About Brendan: Brendan Neal is a freshman at Oberlin College. He really enjoys cookies, playing his bass, and hanging out with people, and (obviously) movies. His favorite genres include sci fi, thriller, action, and absurdist comedy. His 5 favorite movies of all time, in no particular order, are Juno, La Femme Nikita, The Big Lebowski, The Empire Strikes Back, and Pulp Fiction.
About Emily: I was born April 13, 1991 in Minnesota. I’m a current freshman at Oberlin College with an undecided major. I am an avid film buff and have been working on the AFI’s top 100 list for several years now. At present, I have watched 74/100 movies on the list. My favorite directors are Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino and the Coen Brothers. My favorite actor is Robert De Nero. I enjoy all types of films, but I really enjoy gangster movies, film noir and well made musicals. Unintelligent horror movies make me cringe and I have never been a fan of the teen movie(they are always poorly done). My guilty pleasure movies might or might not include The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mystery Men, Notting Hill and the Back to the Future trilogy.
